EVENT INFO:

Highland Mall

9:30am to 11:00- Meeting Spot
Highland Mall – Macy’s parking lot.
(BTW…You don’t HAVE to be here by 9:30am….just so long as you’re ready to leave by 11 for lunch)

12:00 pm - Lunch at County Line BBQ


Cruise begins after lunch, and ends in the evening….

This is approximately a 2.5 hour cruise, depending on traffic and road conditions

In the evening after the cruise, everyone will be meeting at the Omni hotel downtown for drinks, etc….or attending the Austin night meets….whichever you prefer, to be followed by more fun on Sunday!



The rest of the cruise is at your leisure, although the more we stick to the time schedule, the smoother the cruise will go.




**IMPORTANT**

This time around, there will be several meeting/stopping points along the route to ensure no man gets left behind!

I have labeled several stopping points along the route map and these stops will be used to wait for those that fall behind.

Maps will be distributed upon meeting at Highland Mall, and all stopping points listed here will be listed on the map as well.


A Quick Background:
For those of you not familiar with the Hill Country Cruises…The first cruise I put together was this past April, and while it had its small setbacks…
I know that everyone involved had a great time and attendance was great as well!
We had great food…a great drive….and a nice variety of cars too!

Due to the wet weather this past April, I’m going to give November a try, and if all goes well, I’ll make the November Run an annual event.

Thanks to all my old and new friends from DFW and Houston and all around Texas for making the April cruise a success!

This is not a race or an exhibition for aggressive or dangerous driving, it is an opportunity for like-minded auto enthusiasts to cruise along some of the best roads in the state, and enjoy some great scenery, so please drive responsibly.

I've been on drives with Larry over at RXes and from what I've seen anything more than about 15-20 cars starts to get unmanageable and the line of cars gets really stretched out. Just wondering, in terms of crossing intersections, parking, etc.

I've been on drives with Larry over at RXes and from what I've seen anything more than about 15-20 cars starts to get unmanageable and the line of cars gets really stretched out. Just wondering, in terms of crossing intersections, parking, etc.

I have deliberately placed several stopping points along the route, intended as "waiting up" points, where the lead car and lead group will wait for the rest of the group as much a possible. These stopping points consist of large parking lots (HEB) big enough to hold more than enough cars.

Which isn't to say some folks won't get lost or separated...that just happens.
Just don't be that guy.
