This meet was a coordination of both Austin's CentexVQ and San Antonio's Team 210VQZ. The Austin Team gathered in the Regal Metropolitan 14 parking lot in South Austin, and the San Antonio Team gathered at the Live Oak Movie Theater in San Antonio. Both Teams later gathered at the San Marcos Outlet Mall parking lot on 8-31-08 at 12:30p.m.
After the initial meet and greet, mostly everyone headed to Bikini's for lunch and some more pictures. Early in the planning process we estimated 35 people would show up to our meet. In the end we had over 40 cars and 50 people present. Great turnout! We even had a few strangers tag along while on the freeway and follow us back to a local Pool Hall in Austin.My special thanks goes out to everyone that showed up and made this a great event![/b]
