Amateur my Ass...

« on: May 16, 2010, 11:56:20 PM »

I ran across this very interesting little video that puts up a current production Nissan GT-R up against the 2012 Lexus LF-A in a real-world 1/4 mile drag race right here in the states.

Watch this video and try to tell me why I would want to spend $300,000 more for a Lexus LF-A over a Nissan GT-R because I just don't get it....

Saw this and thought the same thing.  The GT-R makes mincemeat out of pretty much anything I have seen thrown at it.  It's hard to dream about any other car than the GT-R nowadays

Incredible idea for the engine with the CF, as well as the weight area. Very impressive, but not for that price tag. I'll go buy 400,000 double cheeseburgers instead.

If I had the money to wipe my nose with $100 bills every time I sneezed I may buy one, but I may always feel like I overpaid for it.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I bought the Lex and the GTR (who payed 300K less) pulled on me at a light like that. I was talking with a guy in Dallas who pulled up in a GTR this weekend and he seemed pretty content with his purchase
